Obituary of Zachary Stephen Guzzo

Mr. Zachary Stephen Guzzo, age 30, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at Lakeland Regional Health surrounded by his family. Mr. Guzzo was born September 6, 1993 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Jeffrey Peter and Kimberly Jo (Cruz) Guzzo. Zachary was a resident since 2006 when he and his family moved to Auburndale from Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and attended Karen Segal Academy in Lake Alfred. Zachary enjoyed Disney especially Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid “Ursula”, T-Rex, Hulk, music, the outdoors, shopping with mom and loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents – Joe & Diane Cruz; paternal grandfather – Salvatore Guzzo and paternal grandmother – Dena Guzzo. Zachary is survived by his loving & devoted family, mother & stepfather – Kim Cruz-Guzzo & David Roberts of Auburndale, Florida; father – Jeffrey Guzzo of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; brother – Justice Devon Guzzo of Auburndale, Florida; aunt – Frances (John) Szalay of North Carolina; and niece, Gabriella Juarez-Guzzo. A celebration of Zachary’s life will be held at a later date.
