Obituary of Martina Jeanette Johnson

Mrs. Martina “Jeanette Price Johnson, age 90 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at Palm Garden of Winter Haven with her family at her side. Mrs. Johnson was born April 23, 1933 in Leoma, Tennessee to Robert and Orpha (Sheppard) Price. She was an Auburndale resident since 1960, a homemaker and worked for many years at The Back Porch in Lake Alfred. Jeanette was a member of Orange Street Church of Christ in Auburndale. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years Thomas E. Johnson (2017); 3 brothers – Francis, Clarence & Ronnie and daughter in law – Donna. Jeanette is survived by her loving & devoted family, son – Ramey Johnson of Auburndale, FL; 2 brothers – Edward (Robbie) Price of Leoma, TN. and Freddy (Macie) Price of Leoma, TN.; sister – Pauline “Polly” Smith of Leoma, TN.; 2 grandchildren – Katrina (Troy) Englert of Winter Haven, FL. and Daniel Johnson of Auburndale, FL.; 2 great grandchildren – Kamryn and Quinn and 1 great great granddaughter – Lilah Jo. Visitation will be Monday, November 6th from 6-8pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10am Tuesday, November 7th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
