Obituary of Billie Ora Devine Somers

Mrs. Billie O. Devine Somers, age 79 a resident of Polk City passed away Tues. April 3, 2018 at Lakeland Regional. Mrs. Somers was born Feb. 24, 1939 in Glenn’s Ferry, Idaho to Earl Wesley and Anna Estella (Harrison) Devine. She was a Polk Co. resident since 2005 coming from St. Lucie/Ft. Pierce. Billie was a CNA in private home care. She volunteered at Parkway Elementary School in Ft. Pierce as a teacher’s aide and nurse. Billie enjoyed nature, Florida Fly Wheelers, coloring and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Robert C. Somers; son – Joseph S. Devine and granddaughter – Jennifer Lynn Devine.

Billie is survived by her loving family;

2 Daughters:        Anna F. (Alan) Rowe of Polk City, FL.

                             RaeAnn Somers (Rick) Fain of Winston, OR.

2 Sisters:              Faye Devine of Sun Valley, CA.

                             Gaila Wheeler of Coos Bay, OR.
