Obituary of Genevieve Sanders

Mrs. Genevieve Elizabeth Sanders, age 92, a resident of Lake Alfred since 1979 passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 in Lakeland, Florida due to natural causes. Mrs. Sanders was born May 19, 1916 in Council Bluff, Iowa to Rollo and Cora (Drury) Shaw. She was a retired Medical lab technician, member of, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lakeland. She loved to read and quilt. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Everett Thomas Sanders; son, Rollo Jack Powers; 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her loving and devoted family: daughter, Cora Burnham of Winter Haven, Florida, daughter-in-law, Caroline Powers of San Francisco, California; 10 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services will be held in California
