Obituary of Betty Judy

Betty Ruth Judy, age 79, of Polk City, Florida went to be with the Lord at 10:10 A.M., Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her residence of heart failure. She was born August 28, 1930 in Polk County, Florida to Chester & Martha (Judy) Tyer. She was a life long member of Green Pond Baptist Church. Betty loved blue grass gospel music, played the guitar and loved to sing. She loved flowers and spent many hours in her yard. When she wasn?t working at Kraft Foods as a Sectionizer, she was a Homemaker taking care of her family. She was married to Ellis Judy. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Richard Judy and 2 grand daughters: Baby Mae Judy and Angela Jane Ruppert. She is survived by 1 son, Larry Judy; 2 daughters, Linda (Paul) Ruppert and Sandra (Dale) Boyett all of Polk City; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00A.M., at the Green Pond Baptist Church, Polk City, Florida. Family will receive visitors from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Green Pond Cemetery.
