Obituary of Frances Mills

AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Frances J. Mills, age 79 of Auburndale passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 in Winter Haven due to heart failure. Mrs. Mills was born in Moultrie, Ga. and has lived in this area since 1946. She was a retired supply tech with LRMC, a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Auburndale and she enjoyed fishing, quilting, music and collecting ceramic birds. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mills. Survivors include daughter, Carron Powell (Gene) of Lake Wales, son, Darrell Mills (Judy) of Lakeland, sisters Edna Farrell Starkweather of Clayton, Al. and Virginia Kay Rice of Ocala, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will take place Thursday at 2 PM at the Auburndale Memorial Park. Kersey Funeral in Auburndale is serving the family.
