Obituary of James Franklin Dyal

Mr. James Franklin “Buddy” Dyal, age 68, a resident of Bartow, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe House in Auburndale surrounded by family. Mr. Dyal was born March 6, 1955 in Auburndale, Florida to Carl Franklin and Janie Sue (Wade) Dyal. He was a lifetime Polk County resident, attended Auburndale Schools and retired after 34 years of service as a Forklift Mechanic for Coca Cola Foods. Buddy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield in Bartow and attended Berea Baptist Church of Auburndale. He enjoyed mechanicing, rebuilding cars, trucks, repairing anything that needed fixing and helping others with any of their needs. He loved spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers – Carl Dyal, Jr. & Jimmy Dyal. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 36 years - Janice Dyal of Bartow, Florida; stepson – Joseph A. Karash of Bartow, Florida; stepdaughter – Jessica (Chris) Morrison of Lakeland, Florida; brother – Allen Dyal of Auburndale, Florida; 2 sisters – Loretta (Rick) Sheets of Auburndale, Florida and Jane Skeen of Lakeland, Florida; 4 grandchildren - Christen, Amia, Veloria & Lydia and 2 great grandchildren – Melanie & Romy. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday, July 10^th with visitation from 2-3 both at Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park
