Obituary of Shaun Renee Green

Mrs. Shaun Renee Nix Green, age 61, a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Green was born July 17, 1961 in Bartow, Florida to Wallace Calvin and Betty Jean (Reed) Nix. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1979. Shaun was an Owner/Operator with her husband of Nix Pest Control in Polk City. She attended Abiding Hope Church in Polk City and was an avid volunteer for VBS programs and other children’s programs at New Life Baptist Church in Auburndale. Shaun enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal & maternal grandparents and her mother. Shaun is survived by her loving family, husband of 42 years – Stephen Green of Polk City, Florida; 2 sons – Stephen Kyle (Justice) Green of Lakeland, Florida and Ethan LaForest (Kayla) Green of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; daughter – Danielle Nicole (Anthony) Roberts of Lakeland, Florida; brother – Wallace Kevin (Linda) Nix of Lake Alfred, Florida; 2 sisters – twin Wanda Kay (Greg) McCord of Polk City, Florida and Meleigha G. Nix of Lake Alfred, Florida; Father – Calvin Nix of Lake Alfred, Florida; 10 grandchildren – Madison, Adylin, Vera, Killian, Samantha, Kaileigh, Aiden, Justin, Nathan & Brandon; 3 great grandchildren - Skylar, Brayden & Mason. There are no services scheduled for Shaun at this time.
