Obituary for Lezell Jenkins Lezell Jenkins, 91, of Auburndale, Florida passed away April 24, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 12, 1932, in Jackson County, Florida to Johnny and Lucille ( Richards) Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was a retired Publix Truck Driver of 32 years. Lezell loved fishing, traveling and gardening. Lezell is survived by: his loving wife of 68 years, Betty; son, Charles Jenkins (Debbie) of Auburndale, Florida and daughter Wanda Weitman (Wayne) of Auburndale, Florida, grandchildren; Brian Jenkins (Dolly), Loren Jenkins, and Taylor Jenkins, special daughter-in law Candida Jenkins, great grandchildren, Gavin Griggs, Lucas Griggs of Auburndale. He was preceded in death by: parents Johnny and Lucille Jenkins, son Larry Jenkins, and grandson Keith Weitman. The family will receive friends at First Missionary Baptist Church on May 1, 2023 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on May 1, 2023 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor David Price officiating, Pastor David Gurgle, Eulogist . Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, family is asking that donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale, Florida. Thank you for your support.
