Obituary for Egerton Emanuel Williams

Egerton Emanuel Williams, 94, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away February 4, 2023, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Auburndale, Florida. He was born on March 1, 1928, in St. Thomas, Jamaica to Thomas and Ethel (Beckett) Williams. Egerton was a retired Farmer in the Agriculture industry, a career in which he was really passionate. Egerton enjoyed an ice-cold Red Stripe Beer, listening to music, playing dominos, and entertaining family and friends. Egerton if you are looking for a adjective to describe him, there's far too many to describe him, he was a proud, kind, compassionate, loving, loyal, dedicated, and hard worker. Family was very important to him. He was the rock of his family, shared in their joy and sadness.

Egerton is survived by: his lovely wife Ellen of whom they shared an in separatable bond of 73 years of which 57 of those years was spent blissfully married. This union produced, 7 children; son Henry, Selvin, Dalton, and Anthony; daughters, Minnette, and Vida. As well as daughters, Jarrett and Pamela. Brothers, Johnathan, Sherlock, Mark, and Kenton; sisters, Luna, Enid, Colleen, Donna, Coolie, and Annie. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents and daughter Martha.

The family will receive friends at Kersey Funeral Home on March 4, 2023, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on March 4, 2023, at Kersey Funeral Home with Rev. Madgelyn Clark officiating. Interment will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.
