Obituary of Kathleen Mae Bittengle

Kathleen Mae Bittengle, 86 of Polk City, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 9th at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.  Kathleen was born May 20th, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Carl and Elizabeth Palicka.  She married her late husband Paul W. Bittengle, Sr on December 24th 1953 and they had two sons, Paul, Jr and Richard.  She had the opportunity to live in Germany and travel to several European countries while there and then they moved to Alaska, before settling down in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Then in 2012, they moved to Florida to get away from the cold winters.  Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great friend to all who knew her.  She is survived by her sons, Paul Bittengle, Jr. of Polk City, Florida and Richard Bittengle of Bellefonte, PA, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, sisters, Cheri, Connie, Shirley, Debbie, Velma Jo, Mary and brothers; Robert, Sonny, and Anthony.
