Obituary of Lou Ann Epperson
Mrs. Lou Ann Epperson, age 70 a resident of Winter Haven went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Lakeland Regional surrounded by family. Mrs. Epperson was born July 19, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Fred Anthony and Barbara Lou (Brooks) Creal. She was a resident of Winter Haven since 1962 coming from Indiana and a retired Bookkeeper for Dial & Associates. Lou Ann graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1970 and from Polk Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Business. She was a member of the Winter Haven Christian Church for 35 years, she taught first, second & third grade Sunday school for 30 years, secretary for the church, sang in the choir and played the piano. Lou Ann and her husband are now members of Legacy Christian Church in Lakeland. She enjoyed sewing, animals, her dogs Brenna & Scooter, Basketball especially the “Orlando Magic” and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons – Raymond Epperson, III and Timothy Neal Epperson. Lou Ann is survived by her loving & devoted family, husband of 52 years – Raymond Epperson of Winter Haven; son – Mark Epperson of Orlando and daughter – Amy Powell and husband Justin of North Carolina. In lieu flowers donations in Mrs. Epperson’s name may be made to; Mission Pattaya, 6618 Bendelow Drive, Lakeland, FL. 33810. A celebration of Lou Ann’s life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 28th at Kersey Funeral Home with a gathering beginning at 10am at the funeral home.
