Obituary of Richard Dale Evans, II

Mr. Richard Dale Evans, II age 49 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Evans was born September 1, 1973 in Martin, Tennessee to Richard Dale and Edna Catherine (Covington) Evans, Sr. He has been Auburndale resident since 1980 coming from Martin, Tennessee. Richard was a Welder for Samson Metal & Machine Inc. of Lakeland. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building/tinkering, spending time with family, welding, loved to watch his son Wyatt play Auburndale High School football, wrestling and Auburndale baseball. He was preceded in death by his mother - Edna; sister – Sabrina; paternal & maternal grandparents; aunt and uncle. Richard is survived by his loving family, wife of 25 years – Tomette Evans of Auburndale, Florida; 2 sons – Christopher Evans of Granbury, Texas and Wyatt Evans of Auburndale, Florida; brother – Raymond (Valerie) Evans of Highland City, Florida and father – Richard Evans, Sr. of Highland City, Florida. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 13th at Kersey Funeral Home.
