Obituary for Richard L Bryant

 

Richard Leslie Bryant, 87, was born in Lakeland, Fl. June 1st, 1935, to Leslie and Annie Bryant.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, late wife Margie, sons Ray Phillips, and Larry Bryant. He is survived by wife Jan, daughters, Lorna Tucker (Bobby), Elaine Beattie, Glenda Allen (Mike), Cecelia Quillen (Mike), and his sister Millie Jordan, along with nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a multitude of cousins.

He was a gentle giant but only stood 5'11". To his family he was a tower of love, refuge, wisdom, guidance, peace maker, disciplinarian when needed, and always our rock. Words cannot begin to convey how greatly he will be missed by all. But God called and Richard answered, I am ready. He gained his wings on Saturday, December 17th, 2022.

A memorial service may be announced at a later date by the family.
