Obituary of Patricia Ann York

Mrs. Patricia Ann “Pat” York, age 83 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital with her husband by her side. Mrs. York was born January 11, 1939 in Warsaw, New York to Leonard and Frieda (Vanocker) Ford. She was a retired Mortgage Processor & Teller in the Banking Industry. She and her husband have been resident’s since 1984 coming from New York. Pat was a member of the Mosse Lodge # 560 in Warsaw, New York where she was also a Senior Moose Regent. She was an active member in her Marianna Mobile Home Community (women’s club, bingo caller, making breakfast for get together’s, shuffle board and more). She enjoyed crafts and spending time with family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son in law – Mitchell Fili. Pat is survived by her loving family, husband of 40 years – Bill York of Auburndale, Florida; 4 sons – James White, Jr. of Varysburg, New York, David (Lisa) White of Warsaw, New York, Steven White of East Avon, New York and Jeffrey White (fiancé-Dawn) of Silver Springs, New York; daughter – Margie Fili of Rock Glen, New York; stepson – Dale (Olga) York of Ontario, New York; 3 stepdaughters – Jodi York of Perry, New York, Lisa (William) Scott of Batavia, New York and Jann Maples of Sevierville, Tennessee; 2 brothers – Richard (Barbara) Ford of Buchanan, Virginia and Robert Ford of Warsaw, New York; brother in law – Peter (Mary Jane) York of Castile, New York; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held in 2023.
