Obituary of Naomi May Beisner

Naomi May Beisner, 89, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Good Shepherd Hospice House, Auburndale, Florida. This truly delightful lady was born in Eaton, Ohio, to the late Nora (Clester) and Willard Ganger. Naomi is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, James A. Beisner. She is also survived by her two devoted children: Nora Kay (David) Francis of Haines City, Florida, and Terry M. Beisner of Troy, Ohio. Her surviving sister-in-law, Rheta Ganger resides in Okeechobee, Florida. She has numerous nieces and nephews across the United States. In addition to her parents, Naomi is preceded in death by all her beloved brothers and sister: Samuel (Shirley) Ganger of Covington, Ohio; Richard Ganger of Okeechobee, Florida; David (Pat Pax) Ganger of Versailles, Ohio; and Joan (Harold) Ranly of Ft. Recovery, Ohio. Naomi was a proud graduate of Ansonia High School’s Class of 1951. She was a licensed cosmetologist and worked in Westbrook Salon in Troy, Ohio. Most of her time she was a fulltime homemaker that welcomed and fed many guests with a smile and twinkle in her eyes. She had an artful talent that she generously shared and expressed with yarns and threads. Naomi’s quiet nature made her a perfect observer of nature and wildlife. Her wisdom about birds and their identification was sought out by many who knew her. One of her favorite pastimes was to travel with her family or friends across the United States, Canada, Bahamas, and Mexico.

A private internment will be in Ansonia Cemetery, Ansonia, Ohio. To honor her memory the family asks all to practice one of Naomi’s virtues; if you can do nothing else, be kind to each other.
