Obituary of Carol Fay Newbold
Mrs. Carol Fay Newbold, age 82 a resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Newbold was born February 20, 1940 in Columbiaville, Michigan to Roland and Myrtle (Thomas) Sheffield. She was a Polk County resident for over 50 years coming from Michigan and retired from Publix after 10 plus years where she worked in the Seafood Department. Carol enjoyed going to the beach, lighthouse’s, canoeing, traveling, reading, being an Elvis fan and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son – Junior; grandson – Scott; 5 sisters – Erma, Emily, Shirley, Patty Jean and Cindy. Carol is survived by her loving family, 3 sons – Roland Newbold, Robbie Newbold and Shane Newbold; 3 daughters – Tammy Driggers, Debbie Seekell and Shelly Hubbard; sister – Joanne Deland and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Monday, November 14th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale.
