Obituary for Robert ‘Bob’ Morgan

Robert C. Morgan, 72 of Winter Haven, Florida; passed away October 23, 2022, at Lakeland Reginal Hospital, Lakeland FL.

Born on May 12, 1950, in Boston, MA to Charles Morgan and Jean (Coyle) Grondin. Raised with love by Albert and Jean Grondin.

Bob lived a full life of love and laughter. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling to new places, going on cruises, weekend trips to the casino, playing cards with his friends, and working in his shop on various projects.

Bob began and ended his professional career through service to his country, serving in the United States Army from 1971-1975 as a Hawk Missile Crewmen. Later in life, Bob worked for Natick Laboratories in Massachusetts until he retired in 2013. Shortly after retirement Bob and Helen moved to Florida to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery.

Bob is survived by his wife Helen, his children Mark Morgan, Mike Morgan and his wife Kristen, Jaime Tomer and her husband Alden, Cori Desrosiers, and Matthew Hunt, his grandchildren Madelin, Nathan, Aiden, Zane, Raylin, Owen and Sophie, his brother Albert Grondin, Jr, and his wife Robin, and his sister Sandy Wilson and her husband James.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life and Memorial at 2pm on the 29th of October at the Kersey Funeral Home at 108 Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, FL.

An additional Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future for his New England friends and family.
