Obituary of Frances Earlene Copeland
Mrs. Frances Earlene Copeland, age 88 a resident of Auburndale passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa surrounded by family. Mrs. Copeland was born April 16, 1934 in Blount County, Alabama to James Roy and Flossie Mae (Brown) Nabors. She was a resident of Auburndale since the e1940’s coming from Alabama and attended Auburndale Schools. Frances was a Co-Owner/Flower Designer for many years at the House of Flowers in Auburndale and an active member of Orange Street Church of Christ in Auburndale. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Charles Eugene Copeland in 2019; sister – Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Littleton and sister in law – Peggy Nabors. Frances is survived by her loving family, son – Jeff (Jackie) Copeland of Homosassa; 2 daughters – Debbie Hanson of Auburndale, FL. and Amy (Matt) Glenn of Salem, MO.; brother – Frank Nabors of Auburndale; sister – Bobbie Quick of Polk City; 4 grandchildren – Jessie (Justin) Martin of Salem, MO., Denay (Rahshon) Clark of Auburndale, Dana Copeland of GA. and Jenna (Kenneth) Kirby of Hillard, OH. and 6 gt grandchildren – Kymari, Kailaya, Madelyn Grace, Tripp, Baxleigh & Colterand and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday, Sept. 16th at Orange Street Church of Christ, 310 Orange St., Auburndale, with a gathering beginning at 9am at the church. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Arrangements By Kersey Funeral Home.
