Obituary of Lucille May Springstead

Ms. Lucille May Springstead, age 80 a resident of Auburndale, Florida formally of Coldwater City, Michigan passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital with her granddaughter by her side. Ms. Springstead was born October 4, 1941 in Coldwater City, Michigan to Garland and Ethel (Parks) Gage. She was a lifetime resident of Michigan and retired after many years as a Factory Worker for Acorn Doors in Quincy, Michigan. Lucille was a member of Good News Bible Church in Coldwater City. She dreamed of coming to Florida and seeing the ocean. She prepared meals for the prison in Michigan which she enjoyed because she wanted to make people feel better about themselves and eat good. She also enjoyed watching westerns, going to church and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Lucille is survived by her family, 2 sons – Garland Springstead of Quincy, Michigan and Keith Craven & his wife Dawn of Burlington, Michigan; daughter – Tammey Crave of Sturgis, Michigan; 2 sisters – Marie Spencer & her husband Lendon of Galesburg, Michigan and Dusty Harris of Schoolcraft, Michigan; 3 grandchildren – Sara Springstead, Shannon Conley & partner Cody Roberts and Matthew Craven & his wife Melissa; 4 great grandchildren – Aaldynn, Coltynn, Paytynn & Zahanna and friend – Ms. Nickel Harris. There are no services scheduled for Ms. Springstead at this time.
