Obituary of Virginia Jenette Conrad

Ms. Jenette Conrad, age 86 a resident of Auburndale, Florida went to Heaven on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital surrounded by family. Ms. Conrad was born September 25, 1935 in Leoma, Tennessee to Virgil Elmore and Myrtess C. (Jester) Johnson. She was an Auburndale resident since 1946 coming from Tennessee. She graduated from Auburndale High School. When she was raising her children in the 1970’s they lived in a Log Cabin on Recker Highway which was just torn down a few years ago. Jenette retired from Coca Cola Foods as a Citrus Grader & Maintenance Worker. She was a past member of Life & Praise Church in Auburndale and a member of Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale where she sang in the choir and was a regular visitor to the local nursing homes. Jenette enjoyed socializing with people, traveling, visiting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter – Karen “Kay” Eaves; 4 brothers – Chester, JB, Charles & Samuel and grandson – Chad. Jenette is survived by her son – Charles Raymond Conrad and his wife Sybil of Auburndale, Florida; daughter – Bethany “Beth” Childs and her husband Danny of Belding, Michigan; 6 grandchildren – Scott, Michael, Charles, Russell, Bethany & Daniel; 8 great grandchildren – Triston, Kylee, Nicolas, Karrigan, Alex, Adeline, Evan & Bently and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held Friday, September 2nd from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday, September 3rd at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park
