Obituary of Jeannelle Tetreault

Jeannelle (Jan) Tetreault, of Auburndale/Winter Haven, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tues. Aug. 23, 2022, at 91 years old. Jan was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Malcolm, and his son Lee; parents;  sister Reba Lee Hughes; nephew Robbie Hughes and niece Joy Hughes.  She is survived by her children Sheila Stakemiller [Pat] McGuffin, Sherry Stakemiller [Kent] Grimes, Sandy Stakemiller [Ken] Koo, Susan Stakemiller Lare, and Gary Stakemiller [fiance Dee]; her favorite niece, Janet Hughes [Danny] Adams; and her step-daughter Susan Tetreault [Robert] Tate; along with 37 grands and great grands. Jan was born in Okeechobee FL, to James Sealie and Velma Smith on April 4, 1931. She enjoyed watching football, Hallmark movies, reading, playing cards, game shows, and most of all, spending time with her family. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never missed an opportunity to praise, worship and talk about Jesus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Auburndale for more than 80 years. A Celebration of Jan's life will be held on Sat. Aug. 27, 10:30am [visitation], 11:00am [service] at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 Lake Stella Dr, Auburndale.
