Obituary for Peggy Spears Todd

Peggy Spears Todd, a resident of Auburndale, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord & Savior on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Oak Haven Nursing Center under the care of Good Shepherd Hospice.

She was born June 22, 1931 in Lake Hamilton, FL. She was a retired bookkeeper. She was an excellent cook, was very involved in her children’s school & sports activities, was a Sorosis Club member, assisted with Miss Auburndale Pageants for many years, and loved her flowers, plants, tropical fruit trees & fishing.

She was married for 61 years to Dwight Todd at the time of his death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter in 1981, her 2 brothers, & 6 sisters.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Todd (Barbara) of St. Pete, her daughter, Becky Todd Grimes (Kevin) of Auburndale, granddaughter, Leigh-Anne Ashley Stedman (Todd) of Auburndale, grandson, Ryan (Johan) Todd of St. Pete, and great-grandchildren Gavin Stedman, and Ullr & Tiago Todd.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 10 AM, at Berea Baptist Church, 1407 us Hwy. 92 W., Auburndale, FL. with service following at 11am.
