Obituary of Janet Susan Kelley

Ms. Janet Susan “Sue” Kelley, age 72 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Life Care Center surrounded by family. Ms. Kelley was born October 15, 1949 in Lawrenceburg, TN. to Stephen Albert and Geneva H. (Stewart) Kelley, Sr. She was a Polk County resident for over 57 years coming from Tennessee. Sue graduated from Lakeland High School Class of 1967, was a retired In Home Caregiver and received her Cosmetology Degree. She enjoyed reading, board games, spending time with family and most of all a Christian Lady. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers – Robert, Jerry, David & Stephen and 2 sisters – Katie & Josephine. Sue is survived by her brother – William (Cathy) Kelley of San Antonio, TX; 5 nephews – Wayne, John, Stanley, Jason & Chris; 7 nieces – Ann, Sylina, Tracy, Michelle, Stefanie, Pam & Nancy and many cousins. Funeral service will by 11:00 am Tuesday, May 10th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Pond Cemetery in Polk City.
