Obituary of Dale Walter Morris

Mr. Dale Walter Morris, age 71, a resident of Winter Haven, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Morris was born December 7, 1950 in Winter Haven to Walter Scott and Helen Mozelle (Smith) Morris. He was a lifetime Winter Haven resident, graduated from Winter Haven High School class of 1968 and was of the Christian Faith. Dale was a Traffic Plans Designer for the State of Florida, Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, Florida Fly Wheelers and the Polk County Skeet Club. Dale enjoyed traveling with his wife, camping, motorcycles, spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother – Scott Alan Morris in 2015. Dale is survived by his loving family, wife of 38 years – Charlene Morris; brother in law & his wife – Mike & Kathy Hall; sister in law & her husband – Peggy & Craig Pemberton; 2 sisters in law – Janet Lynn Hall and Diann Morris; nephew & his wife – Greg & Christina Hall; several great nieces & nephews. A gathering of family & friends will be held Thursday, April 14th from 4 until 6 pm at Kersey Funeral Home.
