Obituary of Donald Carl Stangle

Donald Carl Stangle was born on December 31, 1951 in Washington D.C., but was raised in the Lakeland, Florida area. "Don," was a proud veteran of the Air Force, and served his country in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. By day he worked for several years as a service mechanic for the Hillsborough County Government. But by night, Don shared his love of music by playing the bass guitar with various bands across the central Florida area. Don is survived by his daughters, Diana Judy (Nicholas) and Rebecca Kelton (Steve) and his granddaughter, Andi Jane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Keith Stangle, and parents, Carl and Nola. The visitation will be held at Kersey Funeral Home in Auburndale, FL on March 19, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the VFW in Don's name.
