Obituary of Barbara Leola Buey

Mrs. Barbara Leola Buey, age 89 a resident of Demorest, Georgia and past resident of Florida (Auburndale, Port Charlotte, Sarasota). Mrs. Buey was born April 12, 1932 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Frederick and Agusta (Rummbler) Anthes. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Barbara enjoyed watching TV, yardwork, watching her husband fish and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband – James Frederick Taylor; 2nd husband – John Allan Buey; stepson – Jimmy Buey; grandchild; brothers; sisters and brother-in-law – Ronald Buey. Barbara is survived by her loving family, 3 sons – David Taylor of Billings, Montana, Danny (Kathy) Taylor of Lake Placid, Florida and Dennis (Sara) Taylor of Homer, Georgia; 3 stepsons – Allan Buey of De Funiak Springs, Florida, Thetis Buey of Florida and Christopher (Diane) Buey of North Carolina; 2 stepdaughters – Debra Patach and Patricia Escue of Winter Haven, Florida; sister in law - Diane Buey of Auburndale, Florida; 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and extended family. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 10th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 am at the funeral home.
