Obituary of Ernest A Fatkin

Ernest A Fatkin born December 9, 1930 left this earthly world to join his beloved wife, Fran in heaven on February 10, 2022. He missed terribly the love of his life for the past three years and now will be reunited along with his beloved son, Ernest Fatkin Junior, who passed as a teenager. He was a proud Army veteran and went to his Army reunions regularly. Surviving is Dian Fatkin who resides with her partner, Tennnina McAnany, in Fort Lauderdale Florida. And Cindy Gelting her husband Greg Gelting, residing in South Carolina, his two grandsons, Gregory & Cory Gelting and his three great grandchildren Chase Gelting, Parker Gelting, and Emmery Howell. We have so many adorable photos showing enjoyment on my fathers face with the grandchildren, great, loving memories we'll all have. He worked at Alcoa for 25 years, then became an appliance repairman on his own. Dad labored hard for his family and their three children were most important to them, and after their parents passing they moved to Florida for retired life! They had many friends & family there and enjoyed the weather, boating and RV camping. One of their favorite things to do was to go back to their home town in Pennsylvania and visit their old friends and enjoy some of their favorite foods there. Dad was a drummer for many years playing in a band on weekends when we were young and he continued to play with bands in Florida. He'll forever go down and be remembered as that being one of his loves in life. He grew up in Sch. Haven playing out in nature and enjoyed his time in the army, these were the stories he would reminisce about with us. He & Mom will be missed terribly, but happy they reside in The Lords care together now.
