Obituary of Barbara Appleton

Barbara "Sharleen" Appleton ,70 , of Polk City, Florida passed away February 19, 2022 at home. She was born on August 19, 1951 in Lakeland , Florida to Elmer Groover Fussell and Edith Mae (Rowell) Fussell. Barbara was a member at Green Pond Baptist Church in Polk City, Florida. She was retired having worked in the clerical field for many years. She loved gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her husband Bobby Appleton, Polk City, Fl., son, Rodney Appleton and spouse Tracy, Polk City, Fl., daughter, Becky Appleton, Polk City, Fl., Five Grand kids, Justin, Jared, Elizabeth, Marina, and Joshua. She also has six great grandkids. She was preceded in death by both parents, daughter, Beverly Gayle Appleton, and brother David Fussell. Memorial service for Barbara will be announced at a later date by family.
