Obituary of Willean Greene

Mrs. Willean Greene, age 78 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Life Care surrounded by family. Mrs. Greene was born September 9, 1943 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to James Lloyd and Minnie Lee (Davis) Bohannon. She was a resident of the area since the 1940’s, retired from Triangle Plastics as a CNC Operator after 10 years of service and also worked as a Sectionizer in the Citrus Industry. Willean enjoyed computer games, Facebook, scrabble and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Paul J. Greene; son – Michael L. Greene; 4 brothers – Leroy, James Lloyd, Herbert & J.W.; 3 sisters – Ruby Ann, Eloise & Lucille. Willean is survived by her loving family, daughter – Margaret Costello and her husband Allen of Winter Haven; sister – Wanuase Williams of Winter Haven; daughter in law – Diane Greene of Winter Haven; 5 grandchildren – Ethan, Alex, Brittany, Gabe & Christopher and 3 great grandchildren – Mikiyah, Michael & Mateo. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 26th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation before from 10-11 am at the funeral home. A private inurnment at Rolling Hills Cemetery will be held at a later date.
