Obituary of Brenda Sharon Canady

Mrs. Brenda Sharon Canady, age 70 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida. Mrs. Canady was born December 8, 1951 in Lakeland, Florida to James Angelo and Mary Ellen (Griswell) Spruill, Jr. She graduated from Lakeland High School, was a retired Sect ionizer for Ben L. Griffin Citrus and a member of Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale. Brenda enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Devane Canady, Sr.; brother – Terry Spruill and sister – Sandra Strickland. Brenda is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Devane Canady, Jr. of Auburndale and Duane Canady and his wife Sherron of Winter Haven; sister – Linda Tucker of Georgia; 6 grandchildren – Autumn, Jade, Candice (Chase), Duane, Kristen (AJ) and Tylin (Toby); 10 great grandchildren – Savannah, Brayden, Peyton, Lane, Dallas, Dawson, Alaina, Tritt, Rhett and Raelynn. Visitation will be held Monday, February 7th from 5 – 7 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, February 8th at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.
