Obituary of Donnie Laverne Faught

  Mr. Donnie L. Faught, age 87 a resident of Auburndale passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Mr. Faught was born October 23, 1934 in Leoma, Tennessee to Howard Hampton and Rosa Lee (Price) Faught. He has been an Auburndale resident for over 70 years from Tennessee. Donnie retired after 35 years as a Truck Driver for Ryder Trucking Company and also retired after several years as a Maintenance Supervisor of Life & Praise Church in Auburndale. He enjoyed collecting antique cars, going to car shows, traveling to Maggie Valley and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife – Margie Nell Self Faught in 2007; sister – Ruby; brother – Bobby and son in law – Jimmy Howell. Donnie is survived by his loving family, 2 daughters – LaDonna (Terry) Adams and Audrey Howell both of Auburndale; 5 grandchildren – Summer (Scott) Carroll of Auburndale, Wayne Howell of Livingston, TN., Shane (Tina) Howell of Auburndale, Amberly (Danny) Chandler of Auburndale and Annaley Adams of Winter Haven; 12 gt grandchildren – Ollie, Coy, Cline, Cadence, Tony, Sunnie, Maggie, Isla, Blythe,  Annsley, Trenton and Alyana. A gathering of family & friends will be held Monday, January 24th from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park at 2:30 pm.
