Obituary of Stephanie Nichole Shockley-Chancy

Mrs. Stephanie Nichole Shockley-Chancy, age 38 a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 due to an automobile accident. Mrs. Chancy was born September 6, 1983 in Winter Haven, Florida to Johnny Maurice and Connie Faye (Simmons) Shockley. She graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 2001, graduated with a certificate in Nursing from Keiser and was a Certified Medical Assistant for USF in Lakeland. Stephanie enjoyed River Ranch, air boating, outdoors and her animals (1 hog, 4 cats, 2 goats & pot belly pig) she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her maternal & paternal grandparents. Stephanie is survived by her loving family, husband of 16 years – Tim Chancy of Winter Haven, Florida; Father – Johnny Shockley of Auburndale, Florida; mother – Connie Shockley of Lakeland, Florida; brother – Shane (Andrea) Taylor of Hurst, Texas and niece – Bre Taylor of Santa Barbara, California. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, December 29th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
