She was born on July 14, 1940 in Athens , Alabama to Mack and Hattie (Clinard ) Long -Walker . Evelyn was such a beautiful person. She loved doing for others her whole life. She loved preparing dinner for family get togethers and she loved her family very much. Evelyn is survived by: her husband Carroll V. Hughes; 1 daughter Angela M. Bloom of Lake Alfred, Florida; and 1 son Norman C Hughes of Lake Alfred, Florida. She also leaves to cherish her memory, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
