Obituary of Melinda Grace Rose

Mrs. Melinda Grace Rose, age 61 a resident of Auburndale passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her brother’s home surrounded by family. Mrs. Rose was born August 24, 1960 in Rhinebeck, New York to Edbert David and Betty Francis (Hicks) Rose, Jr. She was an Auburndale resident for over 30 years coming from Pennsylvania and graduated from Polk State College with her Associates Degree in Medical Billing & Coding just a few months ago. Melinda enjoyed shopping with her daughters, Indian Pow Wow’s, going to the Keys, concerts, camping and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother; 2 sons – Lennie & Joey and grandson – Kovon. Melinda is survived by her loving & devoted family, 4 daughters – Tonya Giddens, Grace Spain, Kayla Woods & Audreyanna (Christopher) Pike; 3 brothers – David, Scott & Eddie; 4 sisters – Kelly, Joanne, Debbie & Rhonda; 16 grandchildren – Josie, Lennie, Deseray, Brandon, Tory, Sebastion, Nicoma, Aiden, Kiona, Cisen, Ariona, Micah, Kyvin, Keyleanna, Skyla & Jonny; 4 great grandchildren – Haidyn, Maddox, Emerson & Sadie. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 27th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
