Obituary of Diane Lynn White

Mrs. Diane Lynn White, age 71, a resident of Lakeland passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland surrounded by her family. Mrs. White was born November 22, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter Grant and Mary Grace (Bailey) Candy. She was a Lakeland resident since 1974 coming from Miami. Diane was a Certified Dental Assistant retiring after 30 years of service working for (Dr. Ann Carlow, Dr. Kenneth Mundy & Dr. Michael Agnini). She was a member of Victory Church in Lakeland, where she sang in the church choir and a member of the Dental Assistant National Board. Diane was a Concert Pianist graduating from the University of Cincinnati. She enjoyed reading the Bible, praying, baking, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother – Lydell and sister – Donna Lee. Diane is survived by her loving family, husband of 50 years – Johnny White; son – Brian (Cassie) White; 3 daughters – Candy Lyons, LeeAnn (Tracy) Thompson and Brandy (Todd) Eastham; 11 grandchildren – Clayton, Haleigh, Carlie, Brinley, Megan (Artie), Tyler (Kristyn), Taylor, Trevor, Lindsay (Joe), Katelyn (Allen) and Zachary;7 great grandchildren – Alexis, Madison, AJ, Damon, Rohnin, Eli and Genesis. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Mrs. White’s name to; Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823.  A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 27th at Victory Church, 1401 Griffin Rd., Lakeland, FL. 33810.
