Obituary of Scott Alan Newbold

Mr. Scott Alan Newbold, age 32 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home. Mr. Newbold was born November 12, 1989 in Lakeland, Florida to Shane Alan Newbold and Amy Gladys Smith. He was a lifetime Polk County resident and an Underground Pipe Installer in the Utility Industry. He worked several years for Garner Complete Site in Winter Haven. Scott enjoyed riding dirt bikes, horses, bond fires, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather – Roberts Leroy Smith, Sr.; paternal grandfather – Leonard Arthur Newbold, Sr. and uncle – Leonard “Junior” Arthur Newbold, Jr.  Scott is survived by his loving family, mother & stepfather – Amy Smith & Michael Presha, Sr. of Lakeland; father – Shane Alan Newbold of Lakeland; paternal grandmother – Carol Newbold of Lakeland; maternal grandmother – Lucretia Smith of Pennsylvania; brother – Michael Presha, Jr. of Lakeland; sister – Brittany Presha and husband Justin Lewis of Lakeland; 4 uncles – Ronnie, Wynell, Robbie & Rolland; 8 aunts – Shelly, Tammy, Debbie, Christine, Ruthann, Bethann, Kate & Nona; 2 nephews – Kade & Braxton; 2 nieces – Amiyah & Remi and many cousins & extended family. Graveside service will be 2:30 pm Friday, November 19th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale. Visitation will be held before graveside from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Kersey Funeral Home.
