Obituary of Wanda "Joyce" Flynn

Mrs. Wanda “Joyce” Flynn, age 77 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. Mrs. Flynn was born March 26, 1944 in Winter Haven to James Richardson and Lucy Jane (Scott) Moses. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and retired after 30 years of service as a School Cafeteria Manager. Joyce enjoyed watching TV, traveling (Niagara Falls, Grand Canyon, Vegas & Alaska) going on cruises and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death her parents; husband – Robert Leo Flynn and sister Carolyn Sue Patterson. Joyce is survived by her loving family, daughter – Karen Roxanne (Roy) Olive of Winter Haven; 3 sons – Billy Ray (Erin) Turner of Polk City, Kenneth Allen Turner and Steven Rocky Jordan both of Winter Haven; sister – Janet Mitchell of Winter Haven; 8 grandchildren – Kari, Kara, Bobby, Quincy, Dustin, Justin, Zackery & Chandler and 5 great grandchildren – Kayle, Kayla, Brianna, Matthew & Ella. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12th from 6-8 pm at Kersey Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Wednesday, October 13th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
