Obituary of Jeanetra Lea Ott

Mrs. Jeanetra “Cheta” Lea Ott, age 89 a resident of Lakeland passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Lakeland Nursing Home & Rehab. Mrs. Ott was born February 28, 1932 in Columbia, Missouri to Harry James and Margaret (Wilson) Carmichael. She was a Polk County resident since 2011coming from Ocala and a retired Registered Nurse. Cheta attended Edgewood Baptist Church in Lakeland. She enjoyed ceramics, pottery, crafts, fishing and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Donald Ott; 2 brothers – John & Harry, Jr and 4 sisters – Dorothy, Mildred, Thelma & Barbara. Cheta is survived by her loving family, son – John P. Guiseppi and wife Shelley of Lakeland, FL. and 2 grandchildren – John P. Guiseppi, II and wife Niki of Los Angeles, CA. & Melissa Guiseppi of Spring, TX. A graveside service will be 11:00 am Monday, August 23rd at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
