Obituary of John Charles Morrisey IV

Mr. John Charles Morrisey, IV ,  74 , of Auburndale , Florida  passed away August 10, 2021  at Tifton , Georgia . He was born on November 29, 1946  in St. Louis , Missouri  to the late John Charles Morrisey, Jr. and Margaret Hoffert. Mr. John was a military enthusiast who served his country in the army during the Vietnam Era. He was the receiver of National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Civic Actions Medal 1 Class, Bronze Star Medal, One Overseas Service Bar.

Throughout his life, John loved the Lord and thoroughly enjoyed reading and spending time in the Word each morning. He expressed his love for Jesus through his actions and concerns for others. John loved to be with his family whether he was hiking, fishing, or just enjoying activities with the kids and grandkids. He treasured the time he spent with the ones he loved.

Mr. John  is survived by: His wife Sarah Morrisey (Falk) , sons: Brian Morrisey, Steven Morrisey (Jennifer),   Kevin Morrisey ( Elizabeth ), Nathan Morrisey ( Kack), brother William, Morrisey (Amber) Orlando, FL., sister Janet Soloman, (Marc)  Lees Summit, Missouri, 5 Grandchildren: Christian, Liam, Sebastian, Rian and Maggie.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church - Henry Chapel 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32805 on Thursday ~ August 19, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. following the Funeral Services at 10:00 A. M. with Reverend Neil Prentice officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL at 2:00 PM.
