Obituary of Anne Marie DeFeo

Mrs. Anne Marie DeFeo, age 82 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by family. Mrs. DeFeo was born January 21, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Mary (Baxter) Forde. She was a resident of Polk County since 1973 coming from Long Island. She was a retired Administrative Assistant, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and a member of the Old Timer’s Traveling Band. Anne enjoyed country music, karaoke (Kings Pointe Mobile Home Park), camping, traveling and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years Jack DeFeo in 2019 and sister – Theresa. Anne is survived by 3 sons – Danny (Vivian) DeFeo of Savannah, GA., Joe (Gina) DeFeo of Lakeland and Jack (Colleen) DeFeo of Orlando; daughter – Donna (Jake) Kendall of Winter Haven; brother – Jack Forde of Stuart; 14 grandchildren – Anthony, Vinnie, Jen, Josh, Nick, Brandon, Erich, Olivia, Kayla, Dominic, Bryce, Braeden, Abbey & Sofia and 12 great grandchildren – Kaya, Dawsen, Layla, Rylee, Mila, Mason, Laney, Jayce, Kali, Maverick, Scarlett & Aubrey. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Monday, August 16th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 532 Ave M NW, Winter Haven with visitation beginning at 9am at the church. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
