Obituary of Christopher Guyton Alisi

Mr. Christopher Guyton Alisi, age 87 a resident of Polk City passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital with his wife by his side. Mr. Alisi was born April 1, 1934 in Leesburg, Florida to John and Rose Elizabeth (Kurtz) Alisi. He was a Polk County resident since the 1960’s and a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was the Owner/Operator & Mechanic in the Automobile Industry. Member of Green Pond Baptist Church in Polk City where he enjoyed singing solo’s for his church family.  Chris was a race car owner, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son – Christopher J. Alisi; daughter – Carolyn Alisi and stepson – Dean Weatherholtz. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 27 years – Teresa Alisi of Polk City; 5 daughters – Ann (Ron) Young of Tennessee, Shelbie Alisi of Wildwood, DaLetta (Steven) Mullaley of Palm Coast, Spring Alisi of Jacksonville and Elizabeth McComas of Tampa; 2 stepsons – Richard (Wendy) Weatherholtz and Ricky (Mary) Lindsey of Tennessee; 3 stepdaughters – Cathy (James) Creech of Bartow, Tiffany (Chris) Abaire of Polk City and Debbie (Julian) Newton of Kissimmee; brother – Johnny (Nan) Alisi of Leesburg; 3 sisters – Yvonne Hollis of Leesburg, Ramona Moehring of Arizona and Mary (Richard) Hurley of Ocala; 30 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
