Obituary of Lonnie Wayne Hodnett

Mr. Lonnie Wayne Hodnett, age 73 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Friday, July 2, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital surrounded by family. Mr. Hodnett was born November 15, 1947 in Plant City, Florida to Cecil Nolan and Mary Elizabeth (Combee) Hodnett. He was a resident of Polk County for 70 years coming from Plant City and a retired Machine Operator for International Paper Company in Auburndale. Wayne was a member & property owner at River Ranch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing with his 7 dogs and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son – Tim 2/15/2021; brother – Kenny and 2 sisters – Agnes & Glenda. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jimmie Hodnett of Winter Haven, FL.; son – Terry Hodnett of Winter Haven, FL.; daughter in law – JoLee Hodnett of Auburndale; 2 grandchildren – Dallas & Trista. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Hodnett at this time.
