Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Sullivan

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sullivan, age 82 a resident of Lake Alfred passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Sullivan was born January 27, 1939 in Harrison County, Kentucky to Jesse Hunter and Kate Elizabeth (Ecklar) Reed. She was a Lake Alfred resident since the 1970’s coming from Kentucky. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church of Sydney, FL. Mary enjoyed traveling, puzzles and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband – Lindsey Faulkner; son – David Faulkner and brother – Jesse L. Reed. Mary is survived by her loving and devoted family, husband of 16 years – Jerry Sullivan of Lake Alfred; son – Steve (Linda) Faulkner of Lake Alfred; 2 brothers – Edward (Florence) Reed and Wayne (Betty) Reed both of Kentucky; sister – Betty Shelton of Kentucky; grandson – Derek (Alyssa) Faulkner of Ft. Myers and granddaughter – Logan Faulkner of Lake Alfred. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, June 25th at Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 14402 Salem Church Road, Sydney, FL. 33527, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
