Obituary for Harold Eugene Ellis Sr. AKA "MonKey"

 

Harold Eugene Ellis Sr. , 73 , of Lake Alfred , Florida passed away May 7, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital Winter Haven , Florida . He was born on May 17, 1947 in Elsberry , Missouri to Edwin W. Ellis and Lillian (Kimberly ) Ellis. Harold was affectionately known by his family and friends as "Monkey". He was a retired Truck Driver. He loved to gamble, He loved motorcycles, He loved watching old western movies, and his favorite character was John Wayne. He also loved hunting, fishing, and He loved to aggravate his children and grand children but most of all, He loved his wife and family very much.

 

Harold is survived by: his lovely wife of 53 years Audrey; 2 son, Harold "Gene" Ellis Jr. (Tina), of Foley, Missouri, Jamie Ellis of Auburndale, Florida; 2 daughters, Misty Ann Ellis, of Lake Alfred, Florida, Mona Sue McDowell (Paul), of Lake Alfred, Florida. He also leaves to cherish his memory, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by: both of his parents, and his daughter Lisa Renee Grace.
