Obituary of Amanda Marie Martinez

Ms. Amanda Marie Martinez, age 29 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 due to an automobile accident. She was born August 26, 1991 in Bartow, Florida to Joey and Michelle Ranee (Mann) Martinez. Amanda was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Chain of Lakes Collegiate High School and continued her education at Polk State College graduating with her Associates Degree. She was in the food service industry. Amanda was a Dart & Pool tournament player which she enjoyed. She also enjoyed singing, music (playing several different instruments) and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her paternal & maternal great grandparents and uncle – Jesse Shirley. Amanda is survived by her loving & devoted family. Her precious daughter – Avery Marie Maddie; mother & stepfather – Michelle Mann Sanchez & Bobby Cordle, II; father & stepmother – Joey Martinez & Rose Crooms; paternal grandparents – Jose & Sally Martinez; maternal grandparents – Richard & Faye Shirley; maternal grandfather – George “Wayne” Mann; stepfather – Ruben Sanchez; maternal step grandmother – Oralia Sanchez; 3 brothers – Jon “Matt” Martinez, Bryan Altman & Logan Martinez; sister – Rachelle Sanchez; many extended aunts, uncles & cousins. A celebration of Amanda’s life will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 25th at Winter Haven Worship Center, 1835 Overlook Dr., Winter Haven a gathering of family & friends will begin at 5:30pm at the church.
