Obituary of Eunice Mae Hendershot

Reverend Eunice Mae Hendershot, age 86 a resident of Auburndale, Florida went home to be with the LORD on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice surrounded by her family. Eunice was born August 8, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to John Wesley and Ruby Ethel (Cain) Dobbins. She was a member of Cypress Cathedral of Winter Haven and also attended New Hope Fellowship. Eunice was an Ordained Minister & obtained her Doctorate of Divinity.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband – Glenn Wilt; 2 brothers – John & Sam and 3 sisters – Onie, Vicey & Haley.  Eunice is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Chris Wilt and Keith (Christine) Hendershot and daughter Sherry (Wilt) Moore; 6 grandchildren – Tinaka, C.J., Trenton, Dawn, G.J. and Deneece; great grandchildren – Jordan, T.J., Paige, Jason, Shelbylynn and Greggory; great great grandchildren – Laniah, Lillyin, Brentley, Audrey and Avery. A celebration of Eunice’s life will be 5:30 pm Thursday, April 8th at New Hope Fellowship, 307 Deen Blvd., Auburndale. Interment will take place in Akron, Ohio.
