Obituary of Lisa Ann Hassett

Mrs. Lisa Ann Hassett, age 54 a resident of Auburndale passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 surround by her family at Lakeland Regional after a long courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Hassett was born in Milford, Massachusetts to Norman William and Rita (Lamson) Lefrancois. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Massachusetts and graduated from Becker Junior College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Paralegal Degree. She retired from the Worcester State Hospital after several years of service. Lisa and her husband are residents of Auburndale and have been since 2016 coming from Ft. Myers. Lisa was involved with “Girls Love Mail” an organization of communication helping ladies with Breast Cancer. She enjoyed football “Patriots”, Jimmy Buffett and his concerts, get together’ s and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her Aunty Marie. Lisa is survived by her loving & devoted husband of 33 years ~ Jim Hassett; daughter – Jacqlyn Gill and her husband Brian; parents – Norman & Rita Lefrancois; brother – Michael Lefrancois and her 4 year old granddaughter –Reagan. A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held this summer in Massachusetts.
