Obituary of Loretha Kelley
Mrs. Loretha Kelley, age 78 a resident of Auburndale passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at home surrounded by her devoted family. Mrs. Kelley was born November 27, 1942 in Samson, Alabama to Thomas Edward and Lois Ruth (Ward) Wilson. She was an Auburndale resident since 1944 coming from Alabama and graduated from Auburndale High School Class of 1960. Loretha was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Auburndale, a Auburndale High School Band Patron and a Brownie Troop Leader for many years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, crafting and was a wonderful seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister – Elaine “Tink” Wilson. Loretha is survived by her loving husband of 60 years – Carl Ray Kelley, Sr. of Auburndale; son – Carl R. Kelley, Jr. and his wife Sherry of Auburndale; 2 daughters – Tonya Gill and her husband John and Terri Perry and her husband Garry both of Auburndale; 2 brothers – Edward O’Neal Wilson and his wife Sherry of Tampa and Thomas Kenneth Wilson and his wife Martha of Fayetteville, TN.; sister – Judy Alexis Milligan of Lake Alfred; 4 grandchildren – Keisha, Michaela, Jacob & Luke; 1 great grandson – Grayson and many nieces, nephew & cousins. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 7th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. The family request’s to wear your mask.
