Obituary of Kenneth Norman Barfield

Mr. Kenneth Norman Barfield, 72 a resident of Auburndale passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Lakeland Regional. Mr. Barfield was born December 10, 1947 in Camilla, Georgia to Norman C. Barfield and Semmie Faye (Bentley) Peebles. He was a lifelong resident of Auburndale and a retired Maintenance person. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, gardening, animals, NASCAR, the outdoors & football especially the Florida State Seminoles. He loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother – Jimmy “Jimbo” Barfield. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 41 years – Freddie; 4 children – Tammy Barfield-Sanderson of Auburndale, Kenny Ray Barfield of Texas, Kevin Wayne (Kelli) Barfield of Mississippi and Jessica Barfield-Little of Auburndale; 3 brothers – Aubrey (Gina) Barfield of North Carolina, Leo (Susan) Barfield of Winter Haven and LaDon Barfield of Auburndale; 2 sisters – Teresa Connell of Haines City and Kaye (Jim) Chapman of Auburndale; 5 grandchildren – Elicia, Victoria, Cody, Kayla and Nikki; many nieces & nephews. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 20th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale.
